Attention golfers and non-golfers!  The L.C. Smith Alumni Association (LCSAA) wants you to gather your colleages, family and friends for a great afternoon and evening of golf, fellowship and food!  The Captain and Crew format makes it a relaxing and fun event for everyone! 

For several years, the LCSAA has hosted this event to bring the L.C. Smith Community together with SU, local businesses, area engineering firms, and the community at large. 

This year features...

• Participation from LCS Faculty including Dean Laura Steinberg!

• Hole in One Contest sponsored by Wilcox Travel: Winner gets an expense paid vacation worth $5,000!

• LCSAA Silent Auction, Great items for bid!

Days Activities...

• 11am: Registration and Silent Auction opens

• Noon: Shotgun Start

  • Enjoy aand 18-hole round of golf with your colleagues and friends in a relaxing captain and crew format

• 5pm: Social Hour (cash bar)

• 6pm: Delicious grilled dinner on the patio

  • back patio gilled New York Strip Steak

  • seasonal vegatables, baked potato

  • tossed salad with dressing

  • rolls/butter, coffee/tea

Our goal is to network, connect and enjoy the day while raising money to help support young engineering students with their education through the I. A. Hotze Award. This award was established in 1990 by the late Irving A. ("Whitey") Hotze. Whitey was highly committed to Syracuse University and the L.C. College of Engineering and Computer Science. His dedication to the field of engineering along with the encouragement and rewards he provided to promising young engineers entering the field will be remembered for years to come.
