Research Poster Competition
The Nunan Lecture & Research Day concludes with the poster presentation competition, which allows graduate students to showcase their current research efforts. This serves as an opportunity for students to concisely convey their ideas to peers and future colleagues. Prizes are awarded to the top presenters from each of the four departments within the college (Biomedical & Chemical, Civil & Environmental, Electrical & Computer Science, and Mechanical & Aerospace). Of these winners, three runners-up will receive a $250 cash prize, and a grand prize winner, $1000 towards the purchase of a new laptop computer.
The poster presentation competition will be held on the afternoon of Friday, April 17th, from 3:30-4:30pm in the 4th floor hallway of Link Hall followed immediately by a reception and presentation of awards. Students wishing to participate must submit a short, 200-word abstract by 5pm on April 3rd. Abstract deadline will be strictly observed. Abstracts submitted after the abstract deadline will be rejected at the discretion of organizers.

- Technical Content
- Originality and Creativity
- Knowledge of Subject
- Practical Application
- Style and Form
- Delivery
