For Prospective Undergraduates
We are pleased to offer prospective undergraduate students and their families an information session and tour with a member of our recruitment and admissions team. Depending upon your areas of interest, these sessions can last between 60 and 90 minutes: it is best to plan for 90 minutes.
- an overview of the undergraduate academic programs offered in the College,
- insight into experiential learning opportunities, including co-op, study abroad, undergraduate research and other experiences,
- a review of the application process,
- a tour of the College’s labs and facilities, and
- an opportunity to ask questions
We offer Engineering and Computer Science information sessions and facilities/labs tours on most weekday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. for prospective students (those who have not yet applied). We will make separate appointments for admitted students. In either case, reservations are required and can be made by calling 315-443-2219 or by emailing Terrie Monto at email@example.com. If our scheduled date or time does not work for you, please suggest an alternative date/time.
Also, we are hosting our Engineering and Computer Science OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, April 12. This day will feature programming and special events for both admitted students and prospective students (those who have not yet applied for admission). There will be many opportunities to meet with current students and faculty, and you’ll be able to see exciting project demonstrations, too. We’ll also have residence hall tours, campus tours, and lunch on the Quad! It’s like our Super Bowl! Please save the date! The program for admitted students runs from approx. 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the program for prospective students runs from approx. 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration information will be available soon.
