Articulation Agreements

The L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science (LCS) have developed formal “articulation agreements” with two-year institutions that offer Engineering Science (A.S.) Programs at their college. These agreements allow students who have obtained an associates degree to transfer to LCS with junior status, usually without loss of credit.

Syracuse University/LCS agrees to accept into its Bachelor of Science programs those students who have obtained a GPA of 3.00 or better in the engineering science program. In order to transfer, courses must have an earned grade of C or better and fit into the student’s intended program of study. The maximum number of transferable credits at Syracuse University/LCS is 66.

LCS continues to develop articulation agreements with two-year colleges. Please check with the Student Records Office, (315-443-5191) for the most up to date listings.
